Kitchen Pull-Out Larder Modular Shelves

I made these inserts for my pull-out kitchen larder cupboards to double the capacity for small items! BEWARE: I don’t know how universal the larder baskets are, so you may wish to print  one shelf or take careful measurements first to see if it fits in yours. I have included the fusion file for anyone who wishes to modify it.

Description

BEWARE – I don’t know how universal the larder baskets are, so you may wish to print  one shelf or take careful measurements first to see if it fits in yours. I have included the fusion file for anyone who wishes to modify it.
This includes
  • Larder shelf (left and right sides)
  • Short Extension (left and right sides)
  • Tall Extension (left and right sides)
  • Domino
  • Dowel
How to use
  • Make a shelf by joining together the left and right shelf pieces with 4 dominoes. Use superglue to keep them extra secure. Repeat this step to add another shelf layer on top.
  • Between each shelf, you may wish to add an extension (either short or tall version) to raise the top shelf up. I have done this in all of mine as you need to leave some clearance to take the items out of the shelf. Most of mine use the short extension, but where there is a big space between the larder baskets I have used the tall extension.
  • Stack and connect the shelves or extensions using the dowels. Each layer requires 8 dowels to attach to the layer above.
